cedar boughs carry the frost white of snow
layering beauty upon beauty
joy joy joy serenely smiling upon life
as your being comes into mine

sunflower yellow delight
sings the apricot sweetness
carrying me towards the cerulean sky

drifting inside and out
falling to the earthwater
aqua teal droplets of hope

you captured me

you came into the room

and all else disappeared

my heart melted into yours

the brilliance of you premiered

my ear listened to you every word

for seconds turned into minutes

and minutes into hours

time became  a single digit

time stood absolutely still

the rest of  life passed by me

for only YOU captured my being

i saw or heard nothing …only YOU did I see

then one day, nonchalantly you did say

“Well, I found a new attraction…”

i was lost and could not understand

i could not feel your dissatisfaction

how is it possible to be so in love

and the other person is a million universes away?

how is it possible to be so saturated

and the other person does not hear a word you say?

how does one get so captivated by the other?

how does one play a song that is so misunderstood?

how does one lose themselves so completely?

how does one revive from such a deep falsehood?

English: This new image of the reflection nebula Messier 78 was captured using the Wide Field Imager camera on the MPG/ESO 2.2-metre telescope at the La Silla Observatory, Chile. This colour picture was created from many monochrome exposures taken through blue, yellow/green and red filters, supplemented by exposures through a filter that isolates light from glowing hydrogen gas. The total exposure times were 9, 9, 17.5 and 15.5 minutes per filter, respectively. (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
